Cher Lloyd opens up about 'Sorry I'm Late' album title

British songstress Cher Lloyd has finally unveiled her sophomore album, 'Sorry I'm Late', today (May 27) and opened up about its title in a new interview.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM, the 'Want U Back' beauty admitted that it's a fitting title because it feels as though it has been a long time since she released her debut offering, which was 'Sticks + Stones' back in 2011:

"It took a long time to record this album because it took a long time for me to figure out what I wanted to do musically. And I think the title, Sorry I’m Late, is very fitting to what the album says."

Lloyd, meanwhile, features on Demi Lovato's brand new single, 'Really Don't Care', and told Seacrest that it's a girl power anthem that they worked on together via Skype: "I actually remember being in the studio and calling her on Skype and her telling me what she would like and we worked together on writing my verse and it turned out amazing. This is very much a ‘girl power’-type of song.”
