Cher Lloyd on the first time she met her husband: 'I had a plastic bag over my head'

British songstress Cher Lloyd has recalled the first time she met her now husband, hairdresser Craig Monk, and explained that it was a case of instant attraction.

The pair married last year and she has now revealed to London's Metro newspaper that their initial meeting was far from glamorous, but the chemistry between them was undeniable:

"It's embarrassing how we met when I think about it. I went to a hair salon to get my hair done just after I got off 'The X Factor'. I wanted to go for a cigarette but I couldn't go out the front because it was swimming with paparazzi. He was the only one who could take me out the back. So that's where I met him."

"I had a plastic bag over my head because I was getting my hair stripped so it was ginger at the time and I had taken half my make-up off because I had a pimple and spots so I wanted my skin to breathe. I remember he touched my arm saying, 'Let's have a look at your tattoos', but blatantly he was just touching my arm.

She added: "I always say to him, 'You weren't looking at my tattoos. You were just looking at my arms.'"
