Cher Lloyd on Cheryl Cole: 'I've said some stupid things'

'Oath' songstress Cher Lloyd has revealed that she wishes she could build bridges with former 'X Factor' mentor Cheryl Cole because she always really valued her advice.

Speaking to Fabulous magazine, the hitmaker explained that she would like to be on good terms with the 'Call My Name' beauty and hopes they can meet up or talk in the near future:

"I’ve said some stupid things, been an idiot and Cheryl is one person I want to see and speak to. She is one woman I would go to for advice. She sent me a lovely tweet when I got married and I’d love to see her soon."

“I think she’ll be brilliant [on The X Factor]. I’m really looking forward to her being back."

Cole, meanwhile, shocked the world last night by confirming that she married her French boyfriend, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, on July 7 after just three months of dating. The pair wed at Mustique beach and Cole expressed her excitement in a brief message:

"I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news... Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14. We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together.."
