Music Week, the music business weekly reported today (August 24) that  Lady Gaga and Cher Lloyd are collaborating according to RedOne, the producer.

The article, which has since been removed, stated that RedOne explained the two singers worked together on one of Lloyd's forthcoming album tracks:

"It’s a track that GaGa and I wrote together a while ago and when Cher heard it she just loved it. I am in the studio putting the finishing touches to it just now and I’m really excited about it. It’s going to be a big one I think – two icons working together.

"With Cher, she is very special. The way she acts, the way she sings – she’s a star. A lot of artists don’t have that.”  It is thought that the trade title mistook Cher Lloyd for Cher.
