Cher Lloyd on Nicki Minaj collaboration plans: 'I'm going to make it happen'

Cher Lloyd has revealed her determination to work with rapper Nicki Minaj in the future as she thinks it will help launch her career in America.

The 'Swagger Jagger' hitmaker explained to Guilty Pleasures that if her fame peters out on her home turf her back-up plan is to crack the U.S. She wants to work with the 'Super Bass' superstar because her high profile could work wonders for her own reputation:

"I want everyone to realise that before any of this happened, I always had a plan B. You’ve always got to have your back-up. I’ve always said I’ve wanted to work with Nicki Minaj. I’ve locked it into my head so much that I am going to make it happen."

"I’m sure that she is so big in the US and it’s going to be hard but I’m going to push and push to make sure I get it."
