Cher Lloyd to make live U.S. debut at SXSW Festival

Cher Lloyd has been confirmed as one of the performers for this year's SXSW Festival, where she will make her live U.S. debut.

She will play sets at Perez Hilton's annual SXSW showcase (March 17), at Idolator's party (March 15) and finally at the Nylon magazine/Dub Frequency event (March 16), and spoke about her excitement to be back in America to share her music with people:

"I am so excited about coming over to the states and working with LA Reid. LA is a musical genius and has been such a great supporter of me. Now I just cannot wait to get on that stage and for everyone to hear my music."

Upon her return, Lloyd, who was recently nominated for a Kids' Choice Award, will begin her UK tour and the run of dates will kick off in Folkestone on March 29 and are due to come to an end on April 15 in London.
