Cher Lloyd opens up on festival bottling

Cher Lloyd has spoken about her recent brush with festival bottling.

The 'Want U Back' singer was performing at the V Festival on August 19 when she was booed and bottled.

She temporarily walked off the stage before returning and received support from acts like Professor Green and Example after the incident.

Speaking to Sugarscape, Lloyd said that because she has so many positives in her life, the bottling was merely a minor blip. When asked how she got over the incident, the former X Factor star said:

"Just to step back for a minute and realise that there's so many good things going on in my career at the moment. We've got everything in the US, we've got this fragrance in the UK. I mean, there shouldn't be anything that's going to get me down."

She continued: "At the time I was upset about it, but the amount of support that artists have shown me and it's made me realise that it wasn't personal, it was actually something that happens to all the artists."
