Christina Aguilera: 'I'll return to The Voice a stronger coach after my break'

Vocal powerhouse Christina Aguilera thinks that stepping away from her judging role on The Voice USA will be beneficial to her mentoring skills in the long run.

The songstress recently confirmed that she will step down from the panel to focus on her new album, 'Lotus', which she wants to take on the road and told Billboard that a change of creative scenery will do her a lot of good:

"It's very interesting, because it won't really in time be that much of a break. It'll barely allow me to sort of get back to my fans, maybe see them on the road, have some tour dates possibly."

"It's a much-needed time though, because being out on the road and experiencing my fans, I'll also be able to come back a stronger coach."

Meanwhile, the 'Your Body' beauty performed last night (November 2) at the benefit to raise money for those affected by hurricane Sandy.
