Conor Maynard has revealed which member of One Direction he reckons will be the first to go solo.

The boyband singers are regularly linked with splitting from the group and forging their own career.

The lads often write material with other musicians and producers and this has only fuelled the gossip.

When asked by Capital FM who he thinks will be the first One Direction man to go solo, Maynard said: 

"It’s such a weird thing to think about. I think maybe Zayn [Malik] purely because he’s the one I keep hearing about and I keep seeing things on Twitter about him recording a lot of his own music on the side.

"Zayn’s definitely preparing for it!"

Malik meanwhile is set to appear on future Naughty Boy material after working together in the studio.
