Conor Maynard explains Zayn Malik criticism: 'It wasn't a diss'

'Can't Say No' hitmaker Conor Maynard has revealed that he wasn't 'dissing' Zayn Malik, but just found his recent Twitter argument with Calvin Harris to be rather odd.

Maynard was quoted by Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying that he thought Malik was immature for slamming Harris in such a public way, which caused him to unfollow the former 1D star:

"Zayn needs to stop bashing people on Twitter. It's all getting a bit awkward. Calvin Harris, Taylor Swift… At the end of the day his comebacks are crap too. He said to Calvin, 'Calm down before your dentures fall out' and I literally unfollowed him because of that tweet.”

Following the publication of the story, Maynard took to his official Twitter page to clarify his remarks and wrote: "Wasn't a diss guys, I just said the Twitter exchange was weird to see... you should all know how things get twisted. It was all said in a jokey/messing around way anyway, EVERYBODY LOVE EVERYBODY."
