Conor Maynard records stunning cover of Zayn Malik's 'Pillowtalk'

Hitmaker Conor Maynard has treated his fans to a brand new acoustic cover of 'Pillowtalk' by former One Direction heartthrob, Zayn Malik.

He shared the performance on social media this week and it has been viewed over 230,000 times since February 2. American gossip star Perez Hilton praised the cover, tweeting: "Such a pretty cover of @zaynmalik's #PillowTalk by @ConorMaynard."

Back in August last year, Maynard revealed that watching Malik feud with Calvin Harris on Twitter was awkward and told Britain's Daily Mirror: "Zayn needs to stop bashing people on Twitter. It's all getting a bit awkward. Calvin Harris, Taylor Swift… At the end of the day his comebacks are crap too. He said to Calvin, 'Calm down before your dentures fall out' and I literally unfollowed him because of that tweet.”

He quickly confirmed that his remarks weren't meant a a diss, adding on Twitter: "Wasn't a diss guys, I just said the Twitter exchange was weird to see... you should all know how things get twisted. It was all said in a jokey/messing around way anyway, EVERYBODY LOVE EVERYBODY."
