Conor Maynard: 'I first met Rita Ora when I was babysitting and there was vomit involved'

'Vegas Girl' heartthrob Conor Maynard has revealed that his friendship with Rita Ora began when they both happened to be babysitting together unexpectedly.

Speaking to Showbiz 411 at a recent film premiere, the singer explained that it was a very random first meeting and it ended quite badly:

"The first time I did baby sitting was the first time I met Rita Ora. We were both babysitting our manager's kids just for a night and the baby threw up on Rita. Sorry, Rita. She probably didn't want me to tell that!"

Maynard was then asked about the progress of his forthcoming new album, but refused to give away any specific details and instead just mentioned the names of some potential collaborators:

"Still working on it, so there's not a lot to say. But, I've worked with some cool names so far. I had a song sent in by Timbaland, bumped into Travie McCoy in New York as well and I'm still pushing for a Susan Byle duet."

He also joked that a duet with One Direction is unlikely because there would be too many voices on the same track: "That would be cool, but then there would be six people on one song. It'd be a bit crowded, wouldn't it? Maybe I could sing and they could do backing vocals. We'll see."
