Punk rockers Counterfeit on finding their sound: 'It is very aggressive and direct'

Punk rockers Counterfeit have revealed that they have found their sound and couldn't be happier with the music they're making together.

During the interview (which has been translated from German) with fm5.at, the band opened up about their highly anticipated and explained that it has a title already and they're proud of the songs that make up the tracklist:

"We already have a title for the album and want to publish it in December or early next year... We have now found our sound. We are very happy with it - it's exactly what we wanted."

Frontman Jamie Campbell Bower was then asked if being an actor has helped with his stage presence for this musical project and confessed that it's a completely different experience so doesn't really play into it:

"Fuck no! This is so different from anything I've done before. It is very aggressive and direct. Some people naturally have a tendency to have to show something, and that's how I was born. That's how I am. I love to perform and to be on stage, on any way whatsoever. But this project here is a completely different monster."

Counterfeit, meanwhile, will perform live at 2000trees festival, which is scheduled to take place between July 7 - July 9 in the Cotswold Hills, and tickets for the event are on sale now.
