Courtney Love "didn't really like" Lana Del Rey tour: 'I have a messiah complex'Courtney Love has revealed that she has a God complex when she's performing and her 2015 tour with Lana Del Rey was disappointing because she wanted more attendees and bigger venues than what was available to her. She sat down for an interview with actress Anna Faris for her podcast "Anna Faris Is Unqualified" and explained that her tour with the "Born To Die" songstress last year wasn't enjoyable because the venues were smaller than she would have liked: “Last year I toured with Lana Del Rey, after playing a brief stint of playing 2-3,000-seaters. I didn’t really like them. They’re not as fun as 10-20,000 seaters. You get a bigger vibe, if you have a messianic complex. I think I’m the messiah, and I want you to drink my Kool-Aid when I’m on stage. A shot of tequila, and I think I’m Jesusette.” Lovev also admitted that she loves grunge music and often listens to Sirius XM's Lithium show, but finds that it plays a lot of songs that were written about her: “I listen to Lithium, which is like all of the ‘90s songs and a lot of them are actually about me, which is interesting. There’s so many Smashing Pumpkins songs about me, there’s a Bush song about me." Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook. Check out Love's full interview with Faris here:
