BOYS STORM AHEAD IN XMAS PRE-ORDER ALBUM SALES ON AMAZON.CO.UK

 

Luxembourg, 24th September 2013:  One Direction, Robbie Williams and Paul McCartney make an early bid for Christmas 2013 chart success with their upcoming releases topping the Amazon.co.uk Pre-Order Chart. Boy band of the moment One Direction take number two with Midnight Memories, whilst Robbie Williams’ return to swing is welcomed by fans with Swings Both Ways taking the number four spot. US rockers Alter Bridge take number one with Fortress, whilst Beatle Paul McCartney takes number five with New Deluxe.

Female acts from the US are also doing well with indie-rock trio HAIM’s debut album Days Are Gone at number three, Lady Gaga’s ARTPOP at number seven and Katy Perry’s Prism entering the chart at number eighteen. 

Following its release yesterday, Monday 23rd September, Mechanical Bull, Kings of Leon’s latest offering, is already at number two in the Amazon.co.uk MP3 Album Chart and number one in the Amazon.co.uk MP3 Album Movers & Shakers Chart.
