DJ Fresh has given Girls Aloud fans hope of new material after confirming that he has been working with them in the studio.

The pop group are set to celebrate their tenth anniversary in November and there has been talk of a reunion to mark the milestone.

Nicola Roberts recently confirmed that they would be "definitely" celebrating the birthday but stopped short of saying how.

The Daily Star quotes DJ Fresh however as saying that he has been working in the recording studio with the popular girl group. He said:

"I've been working with Girls Aloud recently. I can't really talk much about it yet because it's early days but I can say we've been in the studio together."

He added: "They often turn to me and say: 'Dirty it up and make it crazy'. That's my input - writing dirty hooks that stick in people's heads."
