Deftones have partner with brewery to launch their own line of beer

Deftones have partnered with San Diego-based brewery Belching Beaver to create their very own beer, which is called Phanton Bride IPA.

The 7.10% alcoholic beverage is described as a "hoppy West Coast-style India Pale Ale" and the ingredients, which include Amarillo, Simcoe and Citra hops, were all hand-picked by the band's frontman Chino Moreno.

Moreno spoke to WENN about the beer, which has been named after Deftones' latest single: "Really excited to see our Phantom Bride IPA hit the shelves. As a huge beer connoisseur it was a privilege collaborating with Belching Beaver on the flavour profiles and coming out with a beer that I would put right up with any of my favourites."

It is scheduled to hit shelves from October 3 and will be available in Oregon, Hawaii, Nevada, Washington and California.
