Demi Lovato has made a return to the recording studio.

The singer's last album came in the shape of 2013's 'DEMI' but it seems she has already started work on new tunes.

She revealed the news in a post on Twitter today (February 13) that said:

"You aren't ready..........#2014BITCHESSS."

Lovato also uploaded a photo of a music software program that is titled with the caption 'Studio 2014'.

The former X Factor USA judge meanwhile is currently on tour in North America.

The next date on her Neon Lights jaunt will take place in Anaheim tonight (February 13).

The tour sees Little Mix, Cher Lloyd and Fifth Harmony support Lovato.
