Demi Lovato: 'I'm human and get hurt by people using the web to bring me down'

Songstress Demi Lovato has hit out at people who use social media to try and mess with individuals' lives.

She took to her official Twitter page and shared a series of messages, explaining that there's nothing good about using the Internet to ruin someone's life: "There's nothing more upsetting and hurtful than people having no regards to someone's private life and using the web to bring people down."

Without being specific, Lovato added: "The things people do can affect/hurt others. Even if you don't think I see things... I'm not a celebrity, I'm an artist & most importantly human."

The beauty is currently on her north American Neon Lights tour, which is being supported by UK girl group Little Mix, and recently admitted that she's very emotional: "I'm so emotional. I cry all the time. One of my friends told me how proud she was of me and how I've come so far [and that's the last time I cried]."
