'Heart Attack' superstar Demi Lovato has revealed that she's really annoyed by publications and news sites that twist celebrities' words for the sake of getting hits on their stories. 

She took to her official Twitter page earlier today (April 4) and explained that she's tired of quotes being manipulated by reporters in order to paint singers or actors in a certain light although she didn't refer to a specific example of this:

"Can't stand it when people are misunderstood cause of made up bs on sites that BLATANTLY LIE with NO truth 4 the sake of website hits. Smh."

'Hips Don't Lie' beauty Shakira dealt with a problem of this nature earlier this week and had to clarify that recent comments she made about her boyfriend, footballer Gerard Piqué, being clingy and territorial were meant as a joke:

"Hey guys - I recently said in some interviews that my man could be territorial. For the record, I was being humorous and now I see that some press took it very literally!"
