Demi Lovato has spoken of her strength amid a reported leak of intimate photos.

The singer is currently embroiled in a semi-nude photo scandal after images allegedly of the singer and boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama were uploaded online.

They see a person who appears to be Lovato posing in bed and reportedly kissing Valderrama.

Other more racy images were also uploaded online in the same set, but they bear less resemblance to the former X Factor star.

The singer took to Twitter on Sunday (April 6) to state that she is a "fighter", possibly referring to the image leak.

Lovato wrote: "Soy fuerte. Soy luchadora. Asi que no me subestimen (I'm strong. I am a fighter. So do not underestimate me)."
