Demi Lovato on Ed Sheeran duet: 'We'll either write a song together or perform together'

'Neon Lights' beauty Demi Lovato has revealed that she hopes to collaborate with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran in the near future, although she's unsure if they'll just pen a track together or record something.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest at KIIS-FM, the superstar admitted that she would be excited to work with Sheeran regardless of what they end up doing together:

"I talked to Ed about collaborating and we have talked about writing together, maybe doing a song or performing together at some point. So hopefully that happens."

Earlier this week, she told Capital FM that the next step is to book in some time when they can be in the same place at the same time: "He's just so talented so I'm really excited to work with him. He was supposed to be here this week, so we were gonna write. And now he's not, so we're trying to figure out a time when we can write together."

'Lego House' hitmaker Sheeran recently praised Lovato's vocal ability, telling Capital FM: "She's one of the few that can actually bring it live. Like, she's got vocals! I see her in two weeks, we're doing the same show together, so we'll discuss then! We may even do it that night, you never know!"
