Demi Lovato was on hand to perform at this weekend's LA Pride festivities.

The US city held their annual celebration of everything LGBT and Lovato sang on a float during the event.

Taking to Twitter before the slot, the former X Factor USA judge said on Sunday (June 8):

"Happy @LApride Day to my #LGBT brothers & sisters! So proud to be a part of today's festivities... Get there early!! #LAPRIDE #EqualLove."

It seems it was a busy day for Lovato, who later said: "Just woke up after passing out in my clothes & contacts... I'm [poop]ed!!! Today was one of THE most exciting & fun days of my LIFE!!!!"

The singer was also presented with the key to West Hollywood, with Lovato filming a video for the song 'Really Don't Care' on the day too.
