Demi Lovato: 'If you don't appreciate the little things, you're wasting opportunities to enjoy your life'

Songstress Demi Lovato has revealed that despite enjoying global success in the music and entertainment industries, she still gets very excited about the little things that happen, such as hearing her songs on the radio.

Speaking exclusively to Ryan Seacrest, the beauty explained that taking pleasure from small occurrences is just as important to her as celebrating the big milestones: "If you don’t, you’re wasting a perfect opportunity to sit back and enjoy everything you’ve been working on, for me, 15 years of my life."

She added: "It’s just an incredible, incredible feeling. And even when I’m in the car with my driver or something, and my song comes on, I’m like, ‘Hey, turn it up, mu song’s on!’”

She also just announced that on September 27 she will headline the Staples Centre in Los Angeles and admitted that it's a dream come true to play there on her world tour: “I’m so excited, I’ve never played Staples Center. I’m freaking out. It’s incredible. … Come and see it!"
