Demi Lovato: 'Nick Jonas and I wrote and recorded a new song in three hours'

Songstress Demi Lovato recently revealed that she will be featuring on Nick Jonas' solo album as they collaborated together on a track named 'Avalanche', but she has now confessed there's another duet they created as well.

She told MTV News that after a spontaneous hour together in the recording studio, they had the bones of a song and called off other plans to stay there and finish the unexpected project:

"Recently we found, I had an hour, one hour free and then I had made other plans [when Nick hit me up and] said, 'What are you doing?' and I was like, 'Uh, I have an hour, I'm just going to get food or something.' ' And he's like, 'Come to the studio'. I came to the studio, heard his new music and was obsessed and then it just evolved into this song that we recorded together on one microphone at the same time and it was very stripped down, very acoustic and it was a song called 'Afterglow'."

She went onto add that they managed to write and record the track within just a short window of three hours, which is impressive and cemented her belief that they make a great creative team:

"The song was written and recorded within two to three hours, so needless to say, I cancelled my other plans and made my friend come to the studio to hang out with me but it was amazing and the way that we work together is pretty incredible. 'Afterglow' is a song that's basically about not knowing what's going to happen but knowing that there's feelings and just going for it anyways because you can foresee the glowing aftereffect of finally being together."
