Demi Lovato on Halloween costumes: 'Being scary is more fun that going for a cute costume'

Songstress Demi Lovato has opened up about her love of dressing up for Halloween and revealed what kind of costume she prefers to wear.

During an interview with People magazine, the beauty admitted that when it's Halloween she really likes to go all out and wear creepy fake-blood stained garments rather than try to be cute:

"You only get to use fake blood once a year! Last year, I wore a really long dress that was actually from my Let It Go music video. I ripped it up, and I stained it with (fake) blood. I was a zombie! To me, that's more fun than having to worry about what you look like all night."

The 'Really Don't Care' superstar also went onto add that the hours she has been putting in at the gym have made her more body-confident so she might go for a different look this time around: "I'm kind of getting some confidence with all the hard work I've put in, so I might go a little sexier this year."
