Demi Lovato has promised fans an Ed Sheeran collaboration.

The two acts have previously discussed the possibility of a recorded duet and she told Digital Spy this week that it will take place once they have the time.

She said: "I would love to collaborate with Ed Sheeran. He's here tonight [at the Royal Variety Performance in London].

"We've wanted to do a song together so it's just a matter of being in the same place at the same time."

Asked if the duet would definitely happen: "At some point, yeah, definitely. We're all over the world so it's hard to be in the same place at the same time. But we've talked about it. And definitely - we want it to happen."
