Demi Lovato: 'Your body and looks will change so all that matters is who you really are'

Songstress Demi Lovato has revealed that she doesn't focus on her looks and prefers to spend more time working on who she is because that's what is the most important.

Speaking to E! News, the beauty explained that she refuses to be defined by a bad hair day because your personality is truly all that really matters: "Your body is going to change, your looks are going to change, you're going to have great hair and make-up days, you're going to have bad hair and make-up days -- it doesn't define who you are."

"At the end of the day, who you are is who people really see."

She went onto talk about the bikini photograph she posted the other day and added that her body doesn't naturally allow her to have a thigh gap and she can be beautiful without one: "For some reason this whole thigh gap thing has kind of swept over what people think is beautiful. And if you have that naturally then that's totally fine, you're still beautiful. But my body doesn't naturally have that."
