Demi Lovato to her bullies: 'You know what? You never broke me'

'Really Don't Care' songstress Demi Lovato has revealed that she wants to show the people who picked on her at school that she is 'rising taller' than them now that she has truly taken control of her life.

When asked by the Huffington Post where she would be if she was an actual 'Skyscraper' as opposed to a metaphorical one, Lovato explained that she would return to her hometown to show the bullies how strong she has become over the years:

"You know what, I would go back to my hometown. There are no skyscrapers in my hometown, which is Colleyville, Texas. And I would stand tall against all the people who bullied me when I was in school and say, 'You know what, you never broke me. I’m actually rising taller than you are.'”

Speaking about body confidence and the media, Lovato added: "I want people to have that balance in the media where they can see that you don’t have to maintain an unrealistic idea of what beauty is to please other people. You can love who you are and what you have. But it’s just about being healthy and feeling great in the body that you have."
