Songstress Demi Lovato has revealed that she's finally feeling happy again after struggling to come to terms with the untimely death of her beloved pet dog, Buddy. 

Buddy died in a 'tragic accident' at the end of July that was later revealed as a vicious coyote attack. 

The 'Cool For The Summer' star took to her official Twitter page earlier this morning and told her followers that she's now starting to cope with the loss and feels more positive: "Sometimes life throws some pretty painful curve balls but today my heart is so full of love and I feel so grateful to be so happy again."

Lovato, meanwhile, recently opened up about her new-found confidence in an interview with Cosmopolitan: "I've never been so sure of myself as an artist when it comes down to confidence, but not only personal things, but exactly what I want my sound to be and what I know I'm capable of and this album will give me the opportunity to show people what I can really do."
