Demi Lovato praises Iggy Azalea: 'She's so far from fake'

Hitmaker Demi Lovato has praised close friend Iggy Azalea and revealed that she admires how genuine she is.

Speaking to Complex magazine about how her friendship with the rapper blossomed, the 'Cool For The Summer' songstress explained that they first hit it off at a certain celebrity's Halloween party:

"We met at Jennifer Lopez's Halloween party..."

"We start talking, and it turns out that we are neighbours and we didn't even know. Then I saw her at all the Jingle Ball shows. Then we got to actually hang, and we just became close."

"She's so awesome. She's very, very, very real. What you see is what you get. I think sometimes that pushes people away, but that's what I admire about her. She's the furthest thing from fake."

Lovato, meanwhile, will release her highly anticipated new album 'Confident' on October 16 and recently told Billboard that she hopes it will empower her fans: “I always try to send kind of an inspirational music to everybody but I also really want to empower women. I think that with this album, hopefully it will empower women.”
