Demi Lovato poses nude and goes make-up free for Vanity Fair

'Cool For The Summer' sensation Demi Lovato has opened up about her new shoot for Vanity Fair, for which she posed completely naked, make-up free, and was un-retouched before the images were published.

In behind-the-scenes footage from the bold shoot, the beauty explained that it's an amazing thing to feel so confident in your own skin and she wanted to celebrate that while she is feeling so positive, inspired and empowered:

“When I think of confident, I think of many things, but one feeling in particular is feeling comfortable in your own skin. There was something incredible about the idea of no makeup whatsoever, no clothes, and no retouching. You know, that says—I never would’ve thought I’d get to a point in my life where I’d feel comfortable doing that.”

In September, the star told Billboard that she hopes her forthcoming new record, 'Confident', will empower female fans: “I always try to send kind of an inspirational music to everybody but I also really want to empower women. I think that with this album, hopefully it will empower women.”
