Demi Lovato reveals who she credits for learning to love her curves

Songstress Demi Lovato has revealed that she felt more confident about her body after curves started to be more desirable.

During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres this week, the 'Cool For The Summer' beauty admitted that she has the Kardashians to thank for putting a different body type into the spotlight and feels more confident because she could identify with how they looked:

"When I was growing up at the kind of age where your body starts changing... it was in that era when very, very, very thin people were popular in Hollywood, so that's what I had to look up to. When the Kardashians came on the scene, that was the first time that I really associated curves with beauty, and it was just so new to me. I remember thinking, 'Wow, that's so cool!'"

"And even in a time when I was still struggling with food, I was able to look at Kim's curves and be like, 'I should really be proud of my curves'. Now there's tons of beautiful, curvy women out there."
