Demi Lovato: 'Sexuality doesn't need to be labelled'

'Cool For The Summer' songstress Demi Lovato has revealed that sexuality doesn't need to labelled in such definite terms.

The beauty parted ways with her long-term boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama over the weekend after six years together and she has now confessed to People magazine that we like who we like and gender doesn't have to come into it:

"It's something I don't think needs to have a label. As humans, It's just about a connection with someone."

Lovato went onto add that she was brought up in a liberal and accepting household:

"I grew up in a home where there was absolutely nothing wrong with somebody identifying as another sex or liking the same sex. People will say, 'Thank you so much for all that you do.' And my response is: It's just something that people should already be doing."
