Demi Lovato says earning first Grammy nomination was 'really rewarding'
Demi Lovato says while getting her first ever Grammy nomination came as a surprise to her, it is an "incredible feeling".
The singer's 2015 record 'Confident' is up for the best pop vocal album prize at this year's ceremony and it seems to have had a big effect on the US star. Speaking to Billboard, she said the nomination means a lot to her.
Lovato said: "Whenever you make an album you don’t think about the end result, you’re thinking about the process. And you’re putting everything into it, so to be nominated for an award for the album is just an incredible feeling and it’s really, really rewarding."
The singer added that she initially told her manager to "shut the f*ck up" after her team told a disbelieving Lovato about her nomination.
