Demi Lovato slams "disgusting" lack of privacy in Twitter rant

Demi Lovato has taken to Twitter to reveal her disgust at society's entitlement over artists.

Celebrities are often the subject of privacy intrusion through the likes of lingering photographers and over-zealous fans.

Speaking in a series of tweets, Lovato showed her disillusionment with the level of expectation some people have with regards to music stars and interaction.

The 'Made in the USA' singer even said that she would trade in all her money for increased levels of privacy. She said:

"Completely and utterly disgusted at the absolute lack of any privacy or respect whatsoever in this world today. None. So disappointed. The entitlement that society has today over the lives of artists today is absolutely PATHETIC.

"Artists don't owe anyone ANYTHING. We choose to be open and honest in our music with others.. Yet this is how we are thanked? I don't do this for money. In fact, I'd give back all the money in the world I've ever made if I could buy my privacy back."
