Superstar Demi Lovato has revealed that she hopes her 'X Factor USA' colleague Simon Cowell will make her godmother to his first child. 

Cowell recently confirmed that he's expecting his first child with socialite Lauren Silverman and the 'Heart Attack' beauty has now explained that she hopes to be involved in the baby's life in a significant way:

"I don't know how it did, I just... it's not my business to ask but it happened, basically though I did say if I'm not the not the Godmother I would be p***ed. Would you like to be the godmother?"

During a new interview, Lovato joked that Cowell's impending fatherhood has 'softened him' up:

"He's [mostly] the same, but maybe he's gotten a little nicer this year. This year, he's up against me and two other girls who don't put up with him. It's basically a whole panel against Simon - it's great! We're not Simon's angels - we're Simon's demons!"
