Demi Lovato loves her elderly neighbours: 'It's great to not live near noisy young people'

'Give Your Heart A Break' songstress Demi Lovato has revealed that she loves her apartment in Los Angeles because it's in a very quiet setting and she lives with a lot of other older residents.

During a recent interview, she confessed that she much prefers living among the elderly as it's a much more relaxed atmosphere and there's rarely any noise or unruly behaviour to deal with:

"The fire alarm went off and we all had to go outside and it was all older people - like old people. There were walkers and wheelchairs. I loved that. I was like, 'Oh my God, this is so cute!' All of the people there are so sweet, especially the valet attendants. It's so much fun because there's not, like, young people that are loud and noisy."

Despite Lovato's obvious affection towards her elderly neighbours, she added that there was one instance where she felt victimised because of her age when she was listening to loud rap music: "This older woman was on the treadmill, walking two miles per hour and she turned around and snarled at me... I was like, 'OK'. It was so cute."
