Demi Lovato: 'Writing my book was really difficult'

Singer and 'X Factor USA' judge Demi Lovato has revealed that writing her self-help book, 'Staying Strong', was incredibly challenging because she struggled to find enough time to stick to her deadline.

The book was released in late November and Lovato told Celebuzz.com that she found it hard to make time in her schedule to sit down and really commit to writing the sections that make up the project:

"[The hardest part was] finding the time to sit down and write. A lot of people don't really write their own books [they have ghost writers], which is probably something that anybody who's not anatural author really needs. You have a deadline, and it needs to be finished!"

She added that she is grateful to be able to share such personal things with her followers and feels as though she has a great dynamic with her fans: "Now I have probably the best relationship between any artist and their fans, because I have no secrets."
