Drake hosts 'Saturday Night Live'

Canadian rapper Drake served as guest host on last night’s (January 18) ‘Saturday Night Live’.

For his opening monologue Drake apologised for introducing the term ‘YOLO’ and re-enacted his Bar Mitzvah.

Other comedy sketches saw the 27-year-old R&B hitmaker impersonating Lil Wayne and Jay Z, Alex Rodriguez and Katt Williams.

Drake also played the parts an amusement ride operative working in Disney World, a student in detention who reads a poem about liking older women and a news anchor.

The ‘Take Care’ star also provided musical performances throughout the show as he performed ‘Started From The Bottom’ with a snippet of his new track ‘Trophies’ as well as a piano ballad rendition of ‘Hold On We’re Going Home’ and ‘From Time’ featuring Jhené Aiko.

Drake is due to visit the UK in March for his ‘Would You Like A Tour?’ arena dates
