Drake and Lil Wayne have put their names to an app that can be used during their upcoming joint tour.

As previously reported, the two US stars will perform across North America in August and September in a run dubbed Drake Vs Lil Wayne.

It has now been confirmed that the event's sponsor Capcom - who created computer game Street Fighter - have made a mobile app for the show.

Fans will be asked to select their city, pick either Drake or Wayne and button bash during the performer's rap battle each night.

The duo said in a statement: "We are both thrilled that our fans will get the unique opportunity to join us in this interactive experience."

The first date of the tour is due to take place in New York on August 8.
