Drake currently set for UK singles and albums chart double

Drake is currently leading both the singles and albums charts in the UK.

The Canadian's track 'One Dance' is still No.1 on the midweek update having sold 64,000 copies.

In the albums chart, the hip-hopper's new effort 'Views' is also sitting pretty at No.1.

It is outselling nearest rival Beyoncé and her 'Lemonade' record by two copies to one.

If Drake holds steady at the top of both charts, it will be the first time an artist has achieved the feat since Sam Smith in 2015.

He saw his track 'Lay Me Down' and his record 'In The Lonely Hour' hit No.1 at the same time.

Elsewhere in the midweek singles chart, Calvin Harris and Rihanna are a new entry at No.2 with 'This Is What You Came For'.

Sia's 'Cheap Thrills' is No.3, Mike Posner's 'I Took A Pill In Ibiza' is No.4 and Beyoncé's 'Hold Up' rises from No.17 to No.5.

Prince's 'The Very Best Of' drops one place to No.3 on the albums chart, with Billy Ocean's 'Here You Are - The Best Of' and Travis' 'Everything At Once' following at No.4 and No.5 respectively.
