Drake dethrones Justin Bieber as Spotify's most-streamed artist

'Hotline Bling' sensation Drake has hit the top of Spotify’s official streaming charts, overtaking fellow Canadian artist Justin Bieber in the process.

Kworb, which is a website that specialises in tracking music data, has revealed that the hitmaker has been streamed 3,185,045,281 times on the platform and this figure is an impressive 10 million more times than Bieber, who is at 3,175,636,461 streams.

The Weeknd has placed fourth with just over two billion streams, while Scottish DJ Calvin Harris and Sam Smith represent Britain in the top 10 at No.6 and No.7 respectively.

Justin Bieber, meanwhile, recently told his fans that 'legal conditions' are preventing him from bringing his world tour to Argentina: "Argentinian beliebers I would like nothing more than to bring the #purposetour there but until the legal conditions change there I can't. Sorry Argentina. I love you."
