Drake's latest album 'Views' has already gone four times platinum in the US

Drake is celebrating after his latest album 'Views' - which was only released in April - went quadruple platinum in the US.

This means that the record has sold over four million units to date in the country. It has been helped along by streaming figures, with 100 plays of the album accounting for one sale.

The album is Drake's second to be certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA. In 2011 his sophomore effort 'Take Care' also achieved the feat.

In September, Apple Music confirmed that 'Views' was the first album to reach one billion streams on the platform. It has also hit three billion plays on Spotify.
