Drake and Rihanna video debut

The long-awaited video for Drake and Rihanna’s collaboration, ‘Take Care,’ made its debut last night.

Based on Jamie XX’s remix of Gil Scott-Heron’s ‘I’ll Take Care Of You,’ the song has already reached number seven in the US and number nine in the UK following the release of the Canadian rapper’s second album of the same name late last year.

But after several stills were released from the shoot last month, fans finally got to see the promo for the track, the pair’s second duet following 2011 number one, ‘What’s My Name?’

The atmospheric four minute clip sees slow-motion footage of charging bulls and birds taking flight and images of fire and ice interspersed with moody shots of the two superstars before it ends with a tender embrace.

The 24-year-old Bajan singer had previously described the video as “beautiful” and “different from anything Drake has ever done," whilst director Yoann Lemoine claimed: "It's actually the most indie video I've done my whole life. It's probably the most famous artists, and they were so open to a project that was so minimal.”
