Drake won't touch a David Guetta collaboration, would prefer a duet with 'integrity and soul'

Canadian rapper Drake has revealed that he has no intention of working with the king of collaborations, David Guetta, in the future.

The 'Take Care' star explained to the NME that the French DJ's style is something he doesn't want to incorporate into his own sound because it's lacking integrity:

"For me, the David Guetta stuff just doesn't work. I don't really wanna go there. There's other artists, that's their sound."

He admitted that bringing in the talents of either Guetta or Pitbull is too much of a mainstream move and he wants to avoid that for as long as he can, and added: "They feel in order to thrive internationally that they gotta do straightforward, four on the flour, David Guetta, Pitbull music."

"For me, I'd rather go to somebody like Jamie xx and tell him, 'Look, I really wanna turn the club upside down, but I wanna do it with integrity, with soul.'"
