Drake premieres new song online

Rapper Drake has unveiled a new song online titled ‘Girls Love Beyoncé.’

The low-key track sees the Canadian MC collaborating with James Fauntleroy, who is also part of a production team called The Y’s which also includes Justin Timberlake, and samples the chorus of Destiny Child’s 2000 hit single ‘Say My Name.’

Drake sing-raps through the slow burning number as he ponders his difficulty in finding a suitable girlfriend. He laments, “These days it’s hard to meet women / Feel like my love is finished / I’ve been avoiding commitment / That’s why I’m in this position.”

The release of ‘Girls Love Beyoncé’ swiftly follows the appearance of another new Drake track entitled ‘No New Friends’ which was debuted on the web yesterday (April 15). ‘No New Friends’ features his Cash Money Records label mates Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and DJ Khaled.

Drake has previously announced at The Grammys back in February that his upcoming third album will be titled ‘Nothing Was The Same.’
