Drake is 'sleeping in the studio' to get his new album finished

Canadian rapper Drake has confessed that in order to get his new album finished before it's released later this month he has moved his bedding to the studio.

The 'Take Care' hitmaker told Rolling Stone that he's currently working and sleeping at the Metalworks Studios in the Toronto suburbs because there are just "10 days" left to produce a final and mastered cut of 'Nothing Was The Same'.

"We have just 10 days before we turn it in. I'm literally sleeping in the studio on an air mattress. We're working 24-hour days to make sure the story is done, front to back. It has to be a new point of discovery."

'Nothing Was The Same' is due to be officially released on September 24 and it features stunning artwork created by Kadir Nelson (pictured below). He recently opened up about the design and confessed that it portrays a journey:

"It's a child version of myself staring at myself now. Sometimes when I try and think back on this journey, it's so hard to pinpoint all of these moments and it gets foggy. Even on past albums when I've been trying to tell this story, I've got there, but maybe not got there all the way."

"And what that album art is to me is, like, this is my most clean, concise thoughts from now, and my best recollection of then. That's really what that cover's about."
