Ed Sheeran has revealed that Courteney Cox and Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny McDaid are on the verge of marriage.

The singer-songwriter previously introduced the celebrity couple to each other - and it seems they have truly hit it off.

The '+' man told the Mirror that the duo are now living together, saying:

"I'm not sure that it's public knowledge, so maybe I shouldn’t have said anything – but, yes, they're already living together. Things are moving fast. He moved in and, judging by the last time I saw them, they couldn’t be happier. They get on really well and are genuinely good friends, pardon the pun."

When asked if they would marry, Sheeran responded: 

“I wouldn’t be surprised, but it’s still early days. They certainly enjoy each other’s company and feel very comfortable with each other.”

The Brit has become unlikely friends with Friends star Cox recently, with the singer revealing that he rapped with Sacha Baron Cohen at her Thanksgiving party.
