Ed Sheeran reveals new single title

Ed Sheeran has unveiled the name of his next single.

The singer-songwriter is due to premiere the track 'Sing' on Monday (April 7) on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show.

The '+' took to Instagram today (April 4) to reveal the tune's title before saying that more activity is due to happen soon.

He wrote: "The first single from my new album is called 'Sing'. The world exclusive first play will be on Zane Lowe's show on BBC Radio 1 at 7:30 on Monday. Lots of other stuff happening this weekend leading up to it, so watch this space....#sing."

Sheeran added an image of what could be the single's artwork before later saying on Twitter:

"The song will go on sale monday night in every single country except UK, Ireland, Germany and Australia, you guys have an EP in a month. Just the way that the countries radio's work, but you'l get a full EP of cool sh*t further down the line. Looking forward to releasing new music finally. yay dot com forward slash yay."

The musician's second album is due to be released before October, which is when his upcoming UK tour will take place.
